PREREQUISITE: Must be previously certified by NMT Center Seminars, an NMTC School Program, or in the St. John Method.
This 20 CE contact hour seminar includes elements of NMT’s foundational platform, and the anatomy, physiology, functions and dysfunctions of the hip, thigh, knee, leg and foot. Sciatica, pseudo-sciatica, degenerative hip, knee pain and pathologies, fallen arches, bunions, claw toe, hammertoe, and other foot conditions will be covered. Common syndromes, surgical approaches and influences of dysfunctional gait will be highlighted in this course.
Hands-on demonstrations will include protocols for treatment of the hip, thigh, knee, leg and foot and a hands-on trade will be included for each of these areas. Location and treatment of pertinent trigger points in the muscles of this region will be discussed and illustrated.
