A two volume comprehensive text on the application of neuromuscular techniques with regional anatomy, physiology, and step-by-step protocols receiving detailed focus.

Volume 1 covers the upper body as well as foundational material on inflammation, trigger points, reporting stations, typical dysfunctional patterns and full discussions of modalities used in the remaining four chapters of technique application for the upper body.

Volume 2 opens with a summary chapter of the essentials covered in the first seven chapters of Volume 1, followed by chapters on patient intake, posture and tensegrity, gait, adaptations to the close environment and sport, contextual influences (i.e., nutrition, respiration), clinical reasoning, self help strategies, and discussions on the modalities used in the final five chapters on technique applications for the lower body.

Practical Case Study Exercises present 34 cases designed to help develop clinical reasoning skills and case related strategies. Cases were written by clinical practitioners and span topics from head to toe, including a diverse sampling of conditions and syndromes, with cross-reference to volumes 1 and 2.
