PREREQUISITE: Must be previously certified by NMT Center Seminars, an NMTC School Program, or in the St. John Method.
This 20 CE contact hour seminar includes elements of NMT’s foundational platform, and the anatomy, physiology, functions and dysfunctions of the shoulder, arm, forearm, and hand. Discussions include carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, tennis and golfer’s elbow, common surgeries, rotator cuff injuries, bursitis, tendonitis, and a variety of hand conditions, such as claw hand, Dupuytren’s contracture, and Heberden’s nodes.
A step-by-step therapy protocol will be demonstrated for the shoulder, forearm and hand, and a hands-on trade will be included for all regions. Discussion of trigger point locations and treatment for each muscle of the upper extremity will be a highlighted feature.
